Email setup

Apple Mail setup steps
- Download profile settings
Scan the QR code, or click download to get the profile. You should then see a “Profile Downloaded” notification. - Install profile
Go to your Apple device settings, open the downloaded profile, and follow the prompts to install. - Enter password
When prompted, enter your email account password to complete setup.

How to set up Hostinger Email on iOS devices using auto-config
- Open Mail on your Mac.
- Go to Mail > Add Account > Other Mail Account.
- Enter your name, email

Gmail setup steps
Mobile app (recommended)
- Step 1 - Install the app
Install the Gmail app on your device:- iOS (iPhone/iPad): App Store
- Android: Play Store
- Step 2 - Go to Settings
Tap the menu icon in the top-left, scroll down, and tap Settings. - Step 3 - Tap “Add account”
Tap Add account to start setup. - Step 4 - Choose “Other”
Select Other as account type. - Step 5 - Enter your email address

Tap Next. - Step 6 - Choose IMAP
Select IMAP when asked for account type. - Step 7 - Enter your email password
Use your mailbox password and tap Next. - Step 8 - Configure incoming server
Incoming server:imap.hostinger.com(Port993, SSL). Then tap Next. - Step 9 - Configure outgoing server
Outgoing server:smtp.hostinger.com(Port465, SSL). Then tap Next. - Step 10 - Choose account options
Set sync frequency, notifications, and related options, then tap Next. - Step 11 - Finish setup
Your mailbox is ready to use in Gmail. You can add a sender name and complete setup.

Desktop (Gmail on web browser)
- Open mail.google.com and sign in to your Gmail account.
- Go to Settings > See all settings > Accounts and Import.
- Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account and follow the prompt.
- When asked, use your full email

Important: Google announced changes to POP/Gmailify from January 2026. If Gmail web import is unavailable, use Webmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail instead.
Troubleshooting: Most errors are caused by incorrect settings. If login fails, reset your password and re-enter all settings, making sure IMAP/POP3 and SMTP values match the server table.
Thunderbird setup steps
Option 1 - Automatic Setup (Recommended)
Thunderbird can detect Hostinger email settings automatically in most cases. If this is not working, use the manual settings below.
- Open Thunderbird.
- Go to Account Settings > Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
- Fill in:
- Your name (this will appear in outgoing emails)
- Username:

Your mailbox password
- Click Continue.
- Thunderbird will attempt to auto-configure your account. If successful, click Done and then Finish.
If automatic setup does not work, use these manual settings:
- Incoming server (IMAP):

smtp.hostinger.com| Port465| SSL

Outlook setup steps
Desktop app (Windows / Mac)
- Open Outlook and choose Add Account.
- Enter your full email

- Incoming (IMAP):

- Finish setup and let Outlook verify the connection.

Mobile app (Android / iOS)
- Open the Outlook app and tap Add Account.
- Enter your full email:

- Tap Sign In / checkmark to finish. Inbox should load after verification.

Important: Hostinger notes that Microsoft “new Outlook” may reject IMAP accounts by April 30, 2026. If setup fails there, use Apple Mail, Gmail app, Thunderbird, or webmail.

Calendar setup (Nextcloud Calendar)

iOS setup (Apple Calendar via CalDAV)
- Open Settings on iPhone/iPad.
- Go to Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add CalDAV Account.

Android setup (DAVx5 + optional calendar app)
- Install DAVx5 from Play Store or F-Droid.
- In DAVx5, add account via URL + username.
- Server URL:
https://thegrandpearl.withflexco.com. - Username:
example@thegrandpearlvienna.com, then enter password. - Enable calendar sync in DAVx5.
- Open your preferred calendar app to view events (for example Google Calendar, Business Calendar 2, or aCalendar).
- If the calendar is not visible right away, enable it once in the calendar app settings (calendar list / visible calendars).
Google Calendar is optional, not required. In many cases calendars appear automatically after DAVx5 sync; sometimes you need to enable visibility once in the app.
